On Thursday, 28/08/2025, His Excellency Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, participated in the second day of the Conference of Social Democratic Parties of the Arab Countries in Slemani.
On the second day of the conference، which aims to strengthen alliance relations between the progressive Arab and Kurdish movements and to develop cooperation between the social democratic parties، a group of guests at the level of senior leaders، political figures and representatives of countries inside and outside Iraq participated.
On the sidelines of the conference، the Vice President and the President of the Republic of Iraq، Dr. Latif Rashid، discussed the latest political and security situation in the region and the relations between Erbil and Baghdad، and both sides agreed that the political and economic problems between the region and Iraq should be resolved on the basis of the constitution and understanding.
